Rudolf Ostermann assumes management control of the Company

1982

Occupation of the current operating site in the Bocholt Industrial Park

1992

Dagmar Daxenberger joins the Company as a managing partner

• Formation of Rudolf Ostermann GmbH by R. Ostermann and D. Daxenberger
• Development of Company into a supplier to the cabinetmaking trade

1993

The Dutch company Medomat b.v. joins Ostermann

• Managed by its founder Joop Eikenaar

1998

The Cross Reference List is developed and marketed

• Facility for finding the right edgebands quickly and accurately

2001

Entry to the French and Austrian markets

• Establishment of the French and English-language export department
• Dispatch of catalogues in 3 languages

2005

Dagmar Daxenberger assumes sole control of the Company

2008

Ostermann expands

• Established an office in Italy and bought the company Perimetre in France

Established an office in the United Kingdom

• The In-house Sales Department takes over 1,200 calls every day
• Some 26,000 warehouse storage spaces hold more than 10,000 edgebands and profiles
• Over 2,400 packages are dispatched every day

• 26 million linear metres of edging in stock

• 250 employees

• Present in 5 European countries
