OSTERMANN edgings for the perfect optically zero bondline
Lasers, cutting-edge hot-air machines and the Near Infrared Radiation (NIR) technology now enable the production of furniture units with a practically invisible transition from board surface to edging. This is known as a ”zero-gap joint appearance”. Furniture items with a ”zero-gap joint appearance” not only have an outstanding appearance, their quality is superlative too. The joint between board and edging is significantly more damp and heat resistant than in joints made with EVA hotmelt adhesive - the industry standard until very recently.
