Real Wood Edgings - Solutions for Every Project

Wooden materials convince with both their natural look and their special feel. Our range comprises real wood edgings in more than 60 wood types and in 12 different surface finishes. Furthermore, you will find thin and thick veneer edgings, cross-grain and end-grain as well as multiplex edgings in top quality.

Real wood edgings are available from small quantities and in many different widths. As a standard, rear sides are coated with a bonding agent. The standard roll length is 50 metres.

Wood Veneer Edgings

Within the huge range of edgings, professional craftsmen will find a comprehensive selection of natural grained veneered edgings (real wood) with various properties and from different manufacturers. Our diverse product portfolio allows professionals to incorporate domestic and exotic woods that are especially attractive due to their natural look and feel. These include the split wood, woodworm, wave and sawn look. As a specialist, we stock high-grade thin and thick veneer as well as cross-grain edgings, guaranteeing top quality furniture production and interiors. Layer Structure of a 2 mm Thick Wood Veneer Edging from OSTERMANN

Our high-quality wood veneer edgings consist of 0.5 mm thick layers of real wood glued together with PVAc dispersion adhesive. The moisture content is between 9 and 12 %. The surface is already pre-sanded with 180 grit and can be painted immediately. The rear side of the edgings is coated with a bonding agent. This increases your time frame for processing, and edging and substrate adhere perfectly.
