Furniture Luminaires

Lighting has become an indispensable part of modern furniture design. For an artful presentation of furniture and rooms with light, we supply an extensive programme of LED solutions with matching, comfortable operating concepts.

LED Technology: Perfect for Furniture Making

LED technology (light-emitting diode) with low voltage has a low power consumption, a very long service life and convinces with a variety of light colours. Due to the low heat production, LEDs are ideal for an installation in furniture, since no minimal spacing is required. Another advantage is the simple assembly of the lighting elements. This technology enables you to incorporate LED systems into furniture with no need for any great specialist knowledge about electrical installations.

Light Colours

One of the most important parameters for choosing a light source is the light colour. It stands for the effect of light or the ambience it creates and is expressed in Kelvin (K).

  • Extra warm white (XW): light colour 2500 - 2800 K, extremely snug, perfect for highlighting of e.g. wooden surfaces or food.
  • Warm white (WW): light colour 2900 - 3300 K, has a cosy and calming effect, ideal for living room or restaurant furniture.
  • Neutral white (NW): light colour 4000 - 4500 K, appears businesslike, suitable for illuminating kitchen worktops or office furnishings.
  • Cold white (CW): light colour 5000 - 6500 K, similar to daylight, with a stimulating effect, ideal for schoolrooms, for lab benches or workplaces where realistic colour rendering is important.

Good to know: MultiWhite (MW): the light colour can be flexibly adjusted between 2500 and 6500 K (Kelvin) from extra warm white (XW) to cool white (KW). The lighting effect ranges from cosy to near daylight, depending on the selected setting.

LED Strips

In times of increasing sustainability and rising energy costs, energy efficiency is becoming a decisive factor. With the new generation of Versa Linear and Versa Inside LED strips, you will find a suitable solution for your project in our range. Both new products score points with more light and lower power consumption. Another advantage: choosing the right products is even easier with the new Versa generation. For applications where the light source is visible, choose Versa Linear with its particularly uniform light beam. If the light source is concealed, Versa Inside is the perfect solution. If the respective luminaire is used for accent lighting, select a version with a brightness of 600 lumens per metre. The LED strips are also available with 1200 lumens per metre for use as functional lighting. Both luminaires are available in the light colours neutral white, warm white, extra warm white and MultiWhite.

Lighting Profiles

Our numerous lighting profiles are perfect to integrate LED strips into the furniture or room design. They serve to distribute the light homogeneously, reduce glare and create an aesthetically appealing lighting solution. They can also be used wherever closed LED strips do not offer sufficient protection from dirt or splashing water.

Spotlights

In addition to linear lighting we offer a wide range of area luminaires, ambient luminaires and focus luminaires. The items are available in many versions, with different colours of light or surface finishes. With their focused light, they make furniture in the kitchen, bathroom, living room or bedroom shine. In shopfitting and commercial construction, they direct the viewer's gaze to special objects and thus set specific accents.

Switching with Smart home

For connecting and controlling our LED luminaires, there are different switch options such as a master unit, contactless motion sensors, a radio control or - the classic way - a push button. A radio receiver with dimming function is also available. Particularly practical: our furniture luminaires and switches can be easily integrated into an existing smart home system if required. Nothing changes regarding the luminaires' installation. The connection is made via plug-in system. No additional components are required.

Luminaires for Special Applications

Whether it is lighting glass shelves, reading lamps, or wardrobe design ... you will find in our wide range the right lights for these applications. They can be quickly and easily assembled and are suitable for retrofitting.

Sustainability

Sustainability has become a widespread priority. The aim is to preserve natural resources and to avoid environmental pollution. With modern LED lighting, both are possible.

  • LED is an energy-efficient lighting: it converts a major part of electrical energy into light energy. This reduces CO2 emissions for electricity productions and at the same time lowers energy costs. The exact energy efficiency class of a light as well as the efficiency of the light source (lumens/watt) can be found in the article information of the respective product.
  • LED Lights have a long life span: this means longer intervals until bulb replacement, lower maintenance costs and less waste. You will find on each product information about the life span of the light.

Important! LED modules and LED lights contain electronic components. They fall within the regulations of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG/WEEE). LEDs must therefore not be disposed of in the residual waste. They can be disposed of free of charge at appropriate collection points.
