The Dining Area | All at One Table

The dining area is always a multifunctional space, especially for young families with children: it is the centre of family life, a place to have meals together, celebrate, read or make things. In our case, the furniture is also part of the open living room, which is why functionality, flexibility and design are equally required. Functionality, flexibility and design are therefore equally required here.

For the surface design, we went with a wood decor in the style of matt oiled veneer, while the fronts have a walnut-coloured linoleum surface. Both materials are child-friendly and easy to clean. At the same time, they give the room warmth and an authentic appearance which harmonises with the high-quality natural surfaces in the adjoining living room.

Glasses, tableware or other showpieces are perfectly staged in the display cases on top of the cabinets. The matt black handleless systems and glass frames offer contrasting
design effects that visually blend with the modern glass partition wall to give a loft-like appearance. Very useful and popular in particular with the younger residents is the long bench with large drawers for additional storage space beneath it. The crowd is larger than usual? Just scooch over, the more the merrier!

Dimmable smarthome-enabled furniture lights on almost all furniture add to the cosy atmosphere and make the dining area a highlight in the room, even in the evening.
