Regardless of which hotmelt adhesive you are using for your edgebanding machine - both the gluepot and application unit need to be cleaned regularly. With PUR hotmelt adhesives, this is strictly necessary after each use. Depending on the type of your machine, we offer the cleaners in the form of granules, cartridges or blocks. The appropriate product is put into the gluepot after it has been properly emptied. Important to note: the application roller has to remain in use and moving until it is fully coated by the melted cleaner. For this reason, the cleaning products contain either blue or red dye, depending on the manufacturer. This way, you can clearly see when the cleaner has reached the application roller.
