Create Welcoming Guest Areas

Unite Function and Design

For our meals, we tend to seek a comfortable atmosphere. Whether they take place in a hotel breakfast room, a restaurant or our private dining room at home - cosy lighting, indirect illumination, a harmonious colour scheme and comfortable seating add to our sense of well-being.

Here, we have deliberately chosen rather subtle colours and surfaces, combining a high-end surface finish in matt black with wood decors. A departure from the colour scheme and a special highlight at the same time is the wall behind the coffee maker. The dark brown decor surface on a roll - Ground Coffee looks really nice and takes up the "breakfast" theme of the room. It is made from ground coffee beans, smells like coffee, too, and endows the room with a relaxing atmosphere. In the back part of the room, illuminated Smartcubes were attached large-scale and loosen up the design of the cabinet front. Glasses and tableware can take centre stage here. At the same time, the content of the shelves is easy to reach for the customers.

Stage your Fronts

drawer with black handleWhich type of handle do we choose for our breakfast room? We took another close look at the materials and surfaces applied so far: the Smartcube shelving system consists of black metal profiles. The majority of fronts have a matt black finish. Individual highlights are set with elements in oak look. Our conclusion: we definitely need a black handle. Preferably made of metal. And ideally with a matt finish. We quickly landed on design handle "Liana".

The matt black design handle convinces with its industrial style. It is made of sturdy metal and represents durability in all living and working areas. Due to the comparatively wide drawers, we selected a length of 380 mm.

It is so Smart. The Smartcube.

SmartcubeFor the shelves on the back wall above the worktop, we used the Smartcube shelving system in black. It fits the warm and elegant overall impression of the room and complements the look of the dark fronts. You can use Smartcube for a wide range of applications. The flexible shelving system made of square aluminium tubes is available with an inox-coloured or black surface and in many heights and widths. It can be adapted to any room situation and equipped individually with shelves, side parts or lighting struts, depending on the function. Side by side, one below the other or as a single shelf... Design your Smartcube furniture to your liking! With the right components, the shelf can even be fitted with a sliding door. We are excited about the ideas we inspire in you!

It Smells So Nice ...!

Back panel coffeeHave you experienced the pleasant feeling triggered by the first smell of coffee in the morning? Probably. The smell of freshly brewed coffee is associated with positive feelings for most of us. Scientists have allegedly found that the smell actually stimulates our brain and even helps us solve maths problems. So what is more obvious than to naturally fill our breakfast room with the smell of coffee?! How so? Well, with our new decor surface on a roll - Ground Coffee!

New: Ground Coffee

You should definitely have a look at this new surface. Ground Coffee is made of coffee powder and roughly crushed coffee beans and has a strong scent. The integrated coffee beans, which are ground to different sizes, also offer a very special look and feel. Natural flax fibres are used as a substrate. In our breakfast area, we have covered the wall behind the coffee maker with the new decor surface on a roll - Ground Coffee. A good fit, don't you think? This way, the "breakfast" theme is included in the room concept in look and feel.

Also New: Decor Surfaces on Rolls with Surfaces Made of Sustainable Materials

Besides Ground Coffee, we have in our range several other decor surfaces on rolls made from natural and sustainable resources. These renewable materials include skeleton giant leaves, sunflower seed husks, moss light green and vanilla pods. They are made of renewable raw materials, such as skeleton giant leaves, real moss or the shredded pods of vanilla beans or sunflower seeds. Common to all of them is a natural scent, sometimes more and sometimes less intense, depending on the surface. We will be happy to send you corresponding samples upon request.

More on decors on rolls

Edgings. Well Combined.

For the fronts in the breakfast room, the "PrimeBoard MDF black natural" surface with Xtreme Matt (XT) finish was applied. The raw fibreboard coloured through in black is characterised by some scattered shavings with typical brownish colour which make for unique boards. To prevent a too dark effect of the room and incorporate the colour of the inclusions within the room concept, the tables were designed in a Butcherblock decor with "Oak" colour.

Cabinet doorAccording to Pfleiderer, "PrimeBoard MDF black natural" sets new standards in sophisticated shopfitting and interior design. You can choose between two different lacquer finishes: Xtreme Matt (XT) and Xtreme High Gloss (XG). To obtain the same perfect finish at the edges of the board, there are now two new ABS edgings reflecting the look - "MDF black natural smooth with matt varnish" and "MDF black natural Excellent Gloss". While the first variant convinces with its matt look, the high gloss variant was exactly matched to the XG surface. The same scattered, slightly brown shavings that make the boards' optics so unique are included in the edgings and blend harmoniously with the surface.

TabletopSuper matt surfaces are in vogue. But without contrasting surfaces complementing them, they quickly tend to appear a little too sterile or even boring. Tradespeople planning to apply surfaces with a Butcherblock decor for visual relief can find two ABS edgings in our range: "Oak Butcherblock wood pore" and "Walnut Butcherblock wood pore". The realistic feel of the wood pore surfaces stresses the natural character and vivid elegance of the decors.
The slightly lighter oak version of the Butcherblock edging was applied to the tables. The different parts with oak-typical elements fit together following a tone-in-tone colour scheme. The slightly greyish natural tone stresses the elemental impression and matches all light and dark plain colours. Rather homogeneous colouring allows you to combine the edging even with monochrome metallic or stone decors.

Cappuccino - Even Under the Table

Table basesWhat could be a better choice for breakfast room tables than a table base named "Cappuccino"? In our case, we went for "Cappuccino II" with two square columns and a height of 710 mm. The columns are attached to a base plate, providing particular stability and a safe stand. Matching the many black surfaces in the room, we selected a matt black surface finish. Alternatively, the table base is available in the colours polished chrome, stainless steel look or RAL 9006 white aluminium. If you want to build smaller tables, you can also select a table base with only one column (Cappuccino I). For high tables, both variants are additionally available with a height of 1100 mm.
