In the formatting zone, the top and bottom surfaces of the substrate board are sprayed with the LPZ/II release agent before passing through the jointing cutters. The hotmelt adhesive will then no longer adhere to the board surfaces in the subsequent steps of the process.
In the gluing and pressing zone, the antistatic cooling agent ensures that the hot adhesive joint and edging cool down as quickly as possible after passing the large pressure roller. This allows the excess adhesive and the radius of the edging to be neatly milled away in the next step.
To ensure that milling cutters and scrapers operate optimally in the finishing zone and that edgings with protective film can be processed without any problems, many machines have an additional spray point prior to finishing. Riepe offers the NFLY release agent and lubricant for this purpose.
In the finishing zone, before the polishing discs, the cleaning agent LP 163/93 is then sprayed onto both sides of the substrate board. When used in combination with the polishing pads, the applied cleaner removes all process-related liquids and adhesive residues from the surface. For machines fitted with the modern "Texture Finish" release agent spray system, OSTERMANN also offers the Riepe Texture Fluid TF25 release agent.
