Description
The 3M Scotch 8959 tape is a standard filament tape with a polypropylene film as a substrate and synthetic rubber (solvent-free) as glue. It is highly tear-resistant in both lengthwise and transverse direction due to the cross-weave glass fibre reinforcement. The polypropylene film shows good abrasion and moisture resistance.

Tip
You can best apply the tape at room temperature to clean, dust-free cardboard surfaces. After application, the tape keeps its adhesive properties at all temperatures to which a packaging item is usually exposed to during transport and storage. The tape is also suitable for pallet securing, for bundling light-weight products, closing and supporting cardboard, or for fastening individual shutter profiles at the back of a shutter mat.
