Tip
OSTERMANN dowels must be processed with a machine, e.g. a dowelling machine.The drill holes in medium density fibreboards should be made with an oversize of 0.2 mm compared to the nominal diameter of the plugs to prevent the risk of bursting in the board or local thickness swelling when inserting oversized plugs. For example, for plugs with a nominal diameter of 8 ± 0.2 mm, drill holes with a diameter of 8.2 mm should be provided.
