B. Prize Draw Privacy Policy

1. Controller

Rudolf Ostermann GmbH, Schlavenhorst 85, 46395 Bocholt (hereinafter also referred to as 'we') is responsible for the processing of personal data within the scope of the prize draw within the meaning of Art. 4 (7) GDPR. 2. Scope of data use

2.1

We use the email address of the participants to determine the winner and to notify the winner by email. The processing takes place on the basis of the consent declared with the transmission of the data, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. We will get the winner's customer number (or that of the company the participant is working for) from Rudolf Ostermann GmbH. This customer number is used in order to find out the address of the according account and send out the prize that has been won. This data handling is indispensable for the processing and execution of the prize draw and therefore takes place within our justifiable interest according to art. 6, paragraph 1 c) of DSGVO, to strengthen our customer retention and to increase our profile and estimation with customers. Any further personal data can be provided by the participant within the scope of the prize draw on a voluntary basis. The data will then be processed on the basis of the consent given when the data is sent (Art. 6 .(1) (a) GDPR).

2.2

When sending the prize, we will pass on the postal address to the third party who will provide or send the prize. This data transfer is mandatory for the handover of prizes, so that we are entitled to this processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR.

2.3

Personal data will not be transferred to a country outside the EU or the European Economic Area.

3. Data erasure

Once the price determination and provision has been completed, the personal data of the winners will be blocked for further use and erased after expiry of any existing retention periods, unless the person concerned has expressly consented to further use of his/her data or there is another right to store and/or process the data.

4. Your rights

In connection with the processing of your personal data by us, you have the following rights:

You can revoke any consent given to us at any time with effect for the future.

4.2

You have a right to information regarding the storage of your personal data. You are also entitled to information about the information listed in Art. 15 GDPR.

4.3

You are also entitled to have your inaccurate personal data rectified in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR and erased if the requirements of Art. 17 GDPR are met.

4.4

You may restrict the processing of your personal data under the conditions set out in Art. 18 GDPR.

4.5

Pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, you are entitled to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation, insofar as this is based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR. In the event of such objection, we will no longer process this data unless we can prove that there are compelling grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

4.6

In addition, you have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format. You also have the right, insofar as this is technically feasible, to have us transmit this data to another controller at your request. The right to transfer data applies exclusively to the personal data processed on the basis of a consent pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR and the processing is carried out using automated procedures. The right to transfer data to another controller is excluded if the rights and freedoms of other persons (e.g., personal data of third parties, our business and company secrets or copyrights) are affected.

5. Obligation to provide data

There is no obligation to transmit the data required to participate in the prize draw. Without providing this information, however, you will not be able to participate in the prize draw or receive the prize won.

6. Right of appeal

If you believe that we do not fulfil our data protection obligations, you can contact the data protection supervisory authorities at any time.
