OSTERMANN has once again expanded its range of edging materials. You can now also get furniture edgings made of polypropylene (PP).
Having recently added linoleum to its already extensive range of edging materials, which includes ABS, acrylic (PMMA), melamine, real wood and aluminium, the company is now announcing another major addition. Furniture edgings made of polypropylene (PP). PP is used mainly in industrial furniture making, but is now also used by workshops in the trade sector.
More Choices Than Ever Before
As a partner to the trade, OSTERMANN aims to offer its customers everything from a single source wherever possible. This also means that they regularly review the range of edging materials and add to it where necessary. The company recently introduced new linoleum edgings. PP edgings are the latest addition to the range. As a result, workshops will now have even more flexibility in selecting the right edging materials for their projects.

The new PP edgings are supplied in small quantities starting from 1 metre. They are available in the usual thicknesses (1 and 2 mm) and in all standard widths (23, 33, 43 and 100 mm). Stocked goods ordered by 4 p.m. will be shipped the same day. Fast, reliable and accurate-to-the-metre delivery from the company's own stock not only eliminates expensive warehousing costs, but also cuts down on residual quantities, thus reducing waste.
Suitable for Processing With Zero Bondline Technologies
Workshops that process their PP edgings with zero bondline technologies can also order OSTERMANN PP edgings with a TPU functional layer for processing on appropriate edgebanding machines. These edgings are specially adapted for processing with modern laser technology, hot air technology and Near Infrared (NIR) technology.
