Linoleum Edgings

If you design furniture elements with a linoleum surface and want to use the same material for your edging, you can now obtain a matching linoleum edging with the same look and feel from OSTERMANN. The new edgings are available in 24 colours:

Linoleum is perfect to build high-quality tables and designer furniture. The material was developed for furniture making as long as 150 years ago and it is as durable as it is sustainable, consisting exclusively of natural and renewable raw materials such as linseed oil, resin, wood, limestone powder and nature-identical colour pigments. To continue the material's unique look and feel on the edging, OSTERMANN now offers, in addition to colour-matched ABS edgings, edgings made of Desktop linoleum in all 24 colours. The diverse colour palette ranges from classic colours to new, earthy tones, which give furniture a timeless character.

Exclusively From OSTERMANN

The new linoleum edgings are made in a special procedure exclusively for OSTERMANN. The original material is removed from the dark paper backing and cut to edge size, so that the applied edging fits neatly to the linoleum surface of the board. The edging width is determined by the thickness of the boards covered with desktop linoleum on both sides.

How to Process the New Edgings?

Taking into account certain parameters, the edgings can be processed as usual with an edgebanding machine. A technical data sheet provides detailed information and instructions for processing.
